Hey there!
I’m Laila, and I’m beyond excited to kick off this blog and dive into my world of photography with you. Whether it’s brand, event, product, or family photography, I’m all about capturing those magical moments and making them last forever. I can't wait to share my tips, tricks, and behind-the-scenes stories!
Sooooooo…What’s my story?
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been obsessed with timeless family photos and the glamorous shots in fashion magazines. That passion led me to take a high school photography class, where I fell in love with the darkroom, developing film, and seeing photos come to life.
My love for photography only grew when I went to art school in college. Surrounded by other creatives, I refined my craft and dabbled in various styles, blending my love for authentic connections and fashion aesthetics. Fast forward through some wild career changes—concert festival production, marketing, student affairs—and becoming a mom right before the pandemic. I wanted to be with my baby and still have a fulfilling career. With a bit of help from art school connections, a supportive community, and businesses looking to adapt during the pandemic, Images By Laila was born.
